Lime Plastering Project on a Grade 2 Listed Property.

Our recent restoration and lime plastering project on a magnificent Grade 2 listed property. The project involved removal of existing plaster, replacing ceilings and applying a 3 - coat lime plaster to the kitchen and utility area.

Client Feedback

Matt has been helping us with renovations to our Grade 2 listed property for the past 9 weeks. We have been extremely impressed with his work ethic. His communication is excellent. In a calm confident manner - He managed our expectations right from the start and his estimate for the work has been accurate - although we have asked for additional work while he has been here. He has delivered the work to time.

We have also been impressed with his knowledge of lime. We have used 3 different suppliers all have served different purposes and Matt has been able to explain the rationale behind using each product.

When on site, he is respectful and tidy which is impressive considering the product he works with. We find his work ethic excellent- arriving when he says he will and working hard until he leaves. He has done a variety of plastering for us, both on laths and on stone. The finishes he achieves are stunning to the point where we are considering leaving some walls unpainted.

We are very satisfied with all aspects of his work and would certainly recommend him. We will be using him again.

Best wishes,

Dr Ed and Louise Ford

Client Feedback.

Matt's work has been excellent. I would be very happy to recommend him to others, and to use him again myself.

Client Feedback

A rather complex project to lime plaster using specialist products. External lime render also and standard multi finish skimming. A whole array of products and skills over several weeks.

Several people looked at the job and didn't respond. Matthew was kind and considerate and at times I was unsure as he was modest about his skills. Several days on I was really impressed. I have more work for Matthew. A nice chap with talent.
